Russea™ manufactures two HDPE net families: braided (knotless) and twisted (knotted). Both use HDPE fibre but serve different applications. Here's the key difference.
HDPE Braided (Knotless) Nets
- 500D fibre — higher denier, more material per thread
- No knots — load distributed evenly, higher burst strength
- Uniform mesh openings — critical for BCCI/sports applications
- Smooth, professional finish
- Standard roll: 30m × 10m
HDPE Twisted (Knotted) Nets
- 280D fibre twisted into 12–36 PLY cord
- Traditional knot at each mesh junction
- Highly flexible — suits fishing, irregular shapes
- KK (knot-to-knot) measurement: 30–80mm
- Lower cost than braided
